Do you have a fascination with the supernatural? If so, this event will be right up your street.
Hidden Aberdeen Tours will kick start their calendar of events with the first ghost tour of 2019.
Taking place on Friday February 22 from 7.30-9.30pm, the tour will begin at King’s College in Aberdeen and commences at the lower end of the Chanonry.m
The tour will take you on a trip through the medieval university campus as you hear stories of the ghosts of auld lang syne.
Attendees will get the chance to hear about the hated public servant, George Downie, a sacrist who came to a sticky end when a student prank went desperately wrong, and find out which Gordon Highlander killed himself rather than go back to the Western Front.
You’ll also find out if Mrs Baird, a minister’s wife got rid of her rather pleasant, but slightly annoying heavy-breathing ghost and hear about the Gerard sisters who feared direct sunlight as well as many more sad and disturbing tales connected with the 500-year-old campus.
Tickets for the event cost £12 for adults and £10 for concessions and can be purchased online via www.hiddenaberdeentours.co.uk or at the VisitScotland hub on Union Street.
The tour is suitable for those aged 10 and above and there are no dogs allowed.
