Aberdeen audiences went wild tonight as two members of the UK’s biggest boy band graced the stage of His Majesty’s Theatre.
Arriving in Aberdeen earlier this afternoon, both Gary and Howard spoke of the secret plan and how it had turned into Aberdeen’s worst kept secret.
Both producers of the musical which opened in Aberdeen on Wednesday night, the duo said how excited they were about the surprise visit and shocking fans at the sold out performance.
The musical, which is inspired by the iconic boy band and has been written by Tim Firth, boasts an eclectic mix of their much-loved songs from the past three decades which are performed by pop group Five To Five.
Winning the chance to play the popular quintet of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen and Jason Orange on BBC’s Let It Shine TV show, Gary has enjoyed watching the new, up-and-coming band take on the roles of the group in their stride.
