A hotel in Stonehaven has launched its new winter menu with beer-inspired additions.
The Marine Hotel, located at Shorehead at Stonehaven’s harbour, has updated its menu with homely winter warmers.
Owned by north-east brewers Six Degrees North, the hotel offers up over 200 Belgian beers pairing a number of them to dishes on the menu.
Using beer created by the brewery in various dishes, the carbonade – a rich stew with tender chunks of beef braised in Chopper stout – is just one of many dishes that features beer in its recipe.
Passionate about supporting local producers, all of the seafood on the new menu is sourced from fish markets in Aberdeen and Gourdon.
As well as seafood and beer-inspired dishes, guests can also find a range of lamb, duck, game and vegetarian options available.
