Enjoying luxurious suburb living, Stewart Milne Homes’ new show home allows you to escape the inner city bustle.
Situated in Den View, Kingswells, the area offers a quiet, friendly neighbourhood for modern families and those who relish the perks of urban living.
Not only is The Fairley enhanced by a private rear garden, exceptional accommodation and an integral garage, but it also boasts a versatile spare room on its ground floor as well.
This would make for an exciting house project, where occupants may choose to implement their very own exclusive gym or cinema.
Set with the task of bringing the dazzling three-bedroom Townhouse show home to life, Eileen Kesson and Jade Lilley, of Envision Interior Design, were eager to get their teeth stuck into a new challenge.
The pair were certain on one thing – the Fairley had to balance elegance and practicality.
With this in mind, each room has been carefully pieced together with statement accessories and neutral tones.
Eileen said: “The show home’s key living areas – comprising the open-plan kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms – are located on the upper floor, while the spare room, utility room and garage are on the ground floor.
“Starting off with the kitchen and dining area, this has been split into four different sections.
“This includes a cooking and prep space, breakfast bar – ideal for relaxed dining – and a formal dining area for socialising and entertaining.” Jade added: “As for the scheme, we wanted to create a space where people could feel that they can entertain or relax.
“The furniture was kept modern, with a high-gloss table, leather seating and, of course, statement lighting. “To link the dining area with the rest of the kitchen, we continued the use of leather throughout the seating.”
With social living at the heart of the home, Eileen felt it was pinnacle to keep the lounge – in the same fashion as the kitchen – “as open, warm and welcoming as possible.”
Eileen added: “Jade and I agreed to shape each main room in a way which would create a much more social living space so, we chose to split the sofas in the lounge because this does just that.
“The wall-to-wall curtains, large picture windows and ambient lighting help to create a calm and inviting atmosphere.”
Jade added: “We also continued the warmth from the kitchen to the lounge, with carefully selected fabrics and accessories in order to help highlight key pieces, such as the upholstered, piped sofas.”
Making your way through the desirable three-storey home, you will discover three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and its very own en suite.
Eileen said: “The master bedroom was kept neutral with taupe, and warm copper tones were used to accent. These were selected with the main purpose of complementing the glamorous bedside tables.”
Completing the accommodation is the family bathroom.
Eileen said: “We decided to make a feature of the bath wall with wallpaper, which was further enhanced with a fun print.
“It was finished off with warm accessories and toiletries, which are actually linked throughout the house. It was important for the show home to flow from room-to-room, which is one of the aspects that Eileen and I believe bring it to life.”
The Fairley is enhanced further by surrounding amenities, from a medical centre and schooling to local pubs and shops – plus scenic views. There are also an abundance of adventure trails and travel links close by including a park and ride.
