An Aberdeen fish and chip shop is set to open its second takeaway in the city.
Sea Salt and Sole will open a new store in February in Bridge of Don.
Owned by Rikki and Gillian Pirie, the shop will be located in a unit at Jesmond Grange – the former Ruby Tuesday’s unit.
The award-winning business, which is based in Dyce, opened in 2014 and has won a number of accolades since.
Earlier this year the chipper reeled in recognition with a National Federation of Fish Friers Fish and Chip Quality award. It also won Best Fish and Chips in the East award at this year’s Dine In – Scotland’s Takeaway Award.
The award recognises individuals and businesses in the takeaway hospitality industry.
Its premises was hit by a blaze in 2015 but reopened in March 2017 after an extensive 18-month renovation.
