A popular gin bar and deli in Aberdeen has officially closed.
Cognito Deli, located on Union Grove, has shut for business, however, the three additional Cognito venues in Aberdeen will all remain open.
Café Cognito, Cognito On The Corner and Cognito At The Cross, all based in the city centre will operate as normal.
Announcing the closure of the deli on Facebook, the firm said: “After two amazing years of running the Cognito Deli on Union Grove, we have decided to make a change to our business and fully focus our efforts on our three other venues – Café Cognito, Cognito On The Corner and Cognito At The Cross – while continuing to look at new opportunities and locations.
“We have had such a great time over the past couple of years, but with other exciting plans afoot, we feel that now is the time to make a change in terms of our business portfolio.”

Staff from the deli have been moved to the cafe on St Swithin Street, where the company intends on extending the opening hours and increasing the menu offering.
The firm also stated in the post there has already been interest in the now vacant unit.
