A north-east theatre company is launching a new performance night.
The event, being called Mash Up will be hosted at Spin on Littlejohn Street by Ten Feet Tall.
Artists from across the spectrum, including singers, poets, actors and dancers, will be able to hone their skills and try out new material.
The event is due to take place tomorrow, starting at 8pm, lasting until 10.30pm.
Planned to be a monthly event. Each month will be based on a different theme, with the first being Shakespeare, ahead of the company’s upcoming production of Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Tickets are priced at £3 and artists can drop and email to the company if they would like to be involved at hello@ tenfeettalltheatre.com.
Three artists have already been announced for the inaugural event.
Inverurie-native Fraser Stewart will read a short fiction piece he has written at the event.
Award-winning spoken word artist Jo Gilbert, known for her work in both English and Doric, will also be in attendance, along with Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist Peter Wood.
Rounding off the list is Kate Steenhauer, a visual artist who recently worked with write Shane Strachan on a stage show about life at Aberdeen bus shelters.
