An award-winning north-east restaurant has reopened.
The Rothesay Rooms in Ballater is now open to the public with an array of new dishes on offer for diners.
The new menu features velouté with artichoke and chives, monkfish with potato salad and pickled beetroot, Aberdeen Angus beef cheek, halibut with pearl barley and pancetta, and a duck egg with truffle panisse, broccoli, and parmesan.
Blackberry panna cotta, steamed orange pudding, and Isle of Mull Cheddar with oatcakes are among the indulgent dessert options.
The offering will change depending on the availability of fresh, local produce.
The Rothesay Rooms will be open from noon to 2pm and 6-9pm on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 3pm on Sunday.
