North-east farm shop to open new drive-through

A north-east farm shop is set to open its new drive-through.
Marshall’s Farm Shop at Boghead Farm will be serving hot food and drinks at the drive-through from 9am to 2.30pm Friday – Sunday this week.
Burgers, bacon and sausage rolls, sandwiches, and teas and coffees will be on offer. Soup and homemade pie options will change daily.
A statement on social media said: “Due to the current restrictions, our cafe has been closed for a few weeks now and we are awaiting announcements for when we will reopen again but this may not be anytime soon, unfortunately.
“Therefore we have decided to open our bothy as a drive-through and takeaway starting this Friday to Sunday. We will gauge interest and update you all as we go along!”
The team also explained how the drive-through process, which will take place in and around the farm shop’s bothy, will work.
Sitting in the bothy or on the outside seating is currently not permitted.

The farm shop is situated mid way between Blackburn and Kintore on the A96, Aberdeen to Inverness Road.
