A north-east catering firm has launched a tasting room experience at local premises.
Kate’s of Inverurie has opened The Tasting Room on King Street in Inverbervie.
Owned by husband and wife team Liam and Kate McKenna, the unique eatery will offer a new space for food lovers to enjoy bespoke dining experiences, showcasing the best of local produce in intimate dining rooms.
The sister business of the catering firm, The Tasting Room will host pop-up evenings and events including tasting nights, gin tastings and more. They will run every four to six weeks initially.

Dates and times are still to be revealed, but those interested can sign up to be placed on the waiting list.
The menu will be individual to each event, and there will only be the one version per event.
Liam said: “As we are an outside catering company we thought opening the tasting room would be a great way to showcase what we do best at Kate’s of Inverurie to the general public.
“Working with some fantastic suppliers and produce to offer something unique in that area of the shire. The team are currently working together now on our first event at the tasting room which I’m sure will be a fantastic night.
