Hundreds of people are anticipated to descend on an Aberdeen shoe shop tomorrow to get hold of a pair of limited edition trainers.
Aberdeen independent shoe store Hanon is one of a few select retailers in the UK to stock the new NIKE x Parra collection.
Located on The Green, staff at the shoe shop have already had to politely ask keen trainer fanatics from London to move from outside the shop as they tried to set up camp on Thursday.
The company issued a statement advising customers to only start queuing after 5pm tonight so that there was minimal disruption to the businesses and residents in the area.
Releasing the collaboration tomorrow at 10am, staff anticipate that hundreds of people will be camping overnight to ensure their space at the front of the queue to secure a pair of the trainers.
This is not the first time hundreds of people have camped outside the shoe store.
Thomas Lindie, marketing manager for Hanon, said: “Since images appeared online a couple of weeks ago for this collaboration between NIKE and Dutch artist Parra, the anticipation has been building and it’s set to be one of the biggest releases this year.
“As one of the few stores in the UK that are stocking this exclusive collection, we’re looking forward to lacing up those who’ll be camping overnight at our Aberdeen store for the release on Saturday morning.
The store is said to have a “good amount of stock”, however the trainers are on a first come first served basis.
The collection will feature the Nike Air Max 1, Air Zoom Spiridon and the Tracksuit x Parra will launch in-store.
