Follow the recipe below to make Courie Courie Bakery & Cafe’s smoky toasted seeds at home.
For the seed mix:
- 300g sunflower seeds
- 250g pumpkin seeds
- 150g sesame seeds
- 50g poppy seeds
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- Mix all seeds together, combine the oil (melted) with soy sauce and stir into the seeds until well coated.
- Place under hot grill, stirring frequently until the mixture starts to colour and look toasted.
- Remove from heat and cool, store in an airtight container. Serve with salads, soups, pasta or enjoy as a healthy snack.
