An Aberdeen hotel is mixing it up with its first line of cocktails.
The Ferryhill House Hotel, which boasts a large outdoor area for al fresco drinking and dining, has introduced cocktails to its menu due to a high demand for the refreshing drinks during the summer months.
The venue now boasts the Eden Mill cocktail range and it is said this is the first eatery in the city to boast the full range of the popular drinks.
Customers can expect to sip on a Berry Bramble, Citrus Fizz, Roasted Martini or a Basil Smash.
Hotel owners McGinty’s Group said it was important to introduce and offer a selection of summer drinks which are perfect for enjoying in the bar or out on the sun terrace.
Marketing manager for McGinty’s Group Jillian Miller said: ” It can get very busy on the sunny days and we have always wanted to introduce cocktails, but as we can be very limited on time, it was vital they were relatively easy and quick to make.
“Eden Mill is a recognised brand and very well received by our customers. We already stock their range of gins at The Ferryhill House Hotel so it seemed like the perfect fit for us.
“The cocktails also work very well due to the huge popularity for gin which doesn’t seem to be slowing down.”
She added: “We are really excited to be launching the Eden Mill cocktails as we believe they will provide the perfect accompaniment to those sunny days especially on our sun terrace.
“It is great to be working with a well-recognised Scottish brand like Eden Mill and we have plans to bring special events and tastings with Eden Mill to the Ferryhill in the summer.”
