Shark fans are in for a treat when an expert gives a talk in the north-east later this month.
Dr Caroline Barelle of Aberdeen University will be at Macduff Marine Aquarium at 3pm on October 20 to provide marine-life lovers with an insight into her research into sharks.
Dr Barelle has been carrying out a study into how antibodies in shark blood can help scientists understand human illness and why shark conservation is so important.
The talk, part of the venue’s October shark month, is free to attend, but guests must pay entry into the aquarium, which costs £7.25 for adults. Concessions are available.
