Deliveroo is celebrating turning two by giving customers an insight into Aberdeen’s most loved dishes.
They’ve revealed Saturday at 6.13pm is the most popular time for hungry Aberdonian’s to order a takeaway through their app.
And American food is said to the the cuisine we love most too.
The most popular dish is cheese toastie takeaway Melt’s Bruiser melt followed by Philly steak fires from Bridge Street Social Club, marinated chicken from FreshMex, hot wings from KFC and chicken Katsu curry from Wagamama.

Since launching in the town over 70 restaurants have signed up to the platform and the company has created work for over 100 people.
60% of its restaurant partners being local independent restaurants.
Dan Warne, managing director of Deliveroo in UK and Ireland, said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Aberdeen over the past two years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”
Mechelle Clark, owner of Melt, said: “Working with Deliveroo has been great, they really take the pressure off deliveries at our end and leave us to do what is important, cook the food!
“Since we joined Deliveroo we have seen our output go up considerably as we have been able to reach consumers we could not reach before.”
Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance, or receive food as soon as possible between 11:30am and 11pm, and from 11:30am on the weekends.
