Brit award winning chart toppers Bastille today confirmed a headline show at the Music Hall on Sunday December 1.
The Grammy nominated four piece, with album sales in excess of eight million, will headline the Granite City to promote their third album.
Doom Days is set for release on June 14 and Bastille will perform the album in its entirety from start to finish in Aberdeen.
Bastille have promised an ‘apocalyptic party’ club night where the Music Hall crowd will be warmed up with DJ sets.
The band will then take fans on a journey through the album from the opening track to last.
Bastille play Aberdeen as part of a nine date tour of intimate dates throughout the UK supporting local venues in towns and cities away from the usual touring route.
Having accumulated global streams reaching over 6.5 billion Bastille continue to be one of Spotify’s top 40 most listened to artists in the world.
Their previous albums both debuted at No.1 in the U.K. and charted top 10 in the United States.
Recent single Happier, now certified platinum in the UK, spent a full six months in the top 10 of the US Hot 100 chart.
A Bastille statement said: “These unique shows will give fans the opportunity to experience an ‘apocalyptic party’ club night, warming them up with DJ sets before taking them on a journey through the narrative of the album, which the band will play live from start to finish.
