An Aberdeenshire brewery will host a fundraising party this October to celebrate the launch of its new charity brew.
Burnside Brewery in Laurencekirk will welcome visitors to its taproom on October 26 from noon until 10pm.
Launching a new beer with the Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team, the Thirst Aid IPA charity brew is an autumnal West Coast IPA and was named by the group too.
Owner Steven Lewis said: “We chose to partner with Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team because we have a love of the countryside and greatly appreciate all of the volunteer work they do.
“We want our brand to promote a healthy and active lifestyle and these men and women help keep us safe when doing so.
“We had four people from the rescue team come down to the brewery to do some tastings and develop the final flavour profile of the beer, which was really fun and we are donating a portion of the proceeds from every bottle to their organisation”
