Trendy Aberdeen salon Harris & Fox was celebrated for striving to engage with customers despite the unprecedented times.
The talented team, headed by salon owner Ryan Harris, were thrilled to receive the prestigious accolade.
Ryan said: “We really didn’t expect it at all so we’re absolutely delighted and a bit in shock,
to be honest.”
Catering for both men and women, Harris & Fox boasts a tranquil and welcoming environment for those who set foot inside.
Since Ryan launched the salon on Rosemount Viaduct in 2018, it’s gone from strength to strength – despite having to close the premises for a prolonged period earlier this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ryan – who made it to the final of the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year Awards in 2013 – is delighted his extensive experience has brought him to where he is today.
The entrepreneur’s vision got the business off the ground, but the versatile team of experts working alongside him played a major part in its considerable success.
Whether you’re looking for a bold new colour, trendy cut or party “do”, the team at Harris & Fox offers services that cover all aspects of hairdressing.
It’s down to this and their combined efforts that saw the salon team win the award for Hair & Beauty Business of the Year. Ryan added: “It was a great evening and very well put together.
“The entire Harris & Fox team send a huge congratulations to all the awards finalists and winners.”
Exclusive and innovative clinic Alpha Clinic, based on Albyn Terrace in Aberdeen, sponsored the award.
Managing directors Dr Thanassi – who studied at Oxford University and Kings College in London and has been a practising plastic surgeon across the globe for more than a decade – and Leah Athanassopoulos were proud to be a part of the event. Leah said: “The ceremony was a great way to be part of the local business community.
“It helped to bring a bit of sparkle, glam and celebration back into our lives – something that we all need at this time.”
