An Aberdeen bakery has launched its own version of a popular vegan pastry that has been hitting headlines across the UK.
Chalmers Bakery has created its own version of a vegan sausage roll which found fame after national chain Greggs launched the product at the start of the year.
The family business decided to offer the pastry due to Greggs not selling the popular item in any of its Aberdeen stores.
The tasty sausage roll will be on trial from today across all of Chalmers’ branches and will cost £1 cold and £1.20 hot.
If you can’t wait to try it out, call to place a pre-order on 01224 712631.
Chalmers has five bakeries across the north-east in Bucksburn, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, Banchory and Ballater.
