An Aberdeen eatery has launched its second menu since opening earlier this autumn.
The Esslemont on Union Street has added a number of new seasonal dishes to its winter offering.
Diners can now enjoy dishes including fresh pumpkin and parmesan risotto and a trio of pickled beets with toasted crostini, smoked red pepper coulis, sunflower seeds and mixed salads as well as satay chicken to start.
For main, expect to see a roast chump of lamb with fondant potato, roasted celeriac and carrot with mint and lavender jus, slow braised shin of beef, Highland venison bolognaise, roast fig, brie and walnut salad and roasted aubergine on the menu, too.
On the dessert offering customers will find steamed clementine pudding, white chocolate and orange mousse, a banana blondie and vanilla creme brulee.
