With the Scottish gin industry growing, True OriGINs Scottish Gin Festival is set to take place again – but this time, its relocating to Aberdeenshire.
Moving out of the city, the gin festival will take place in two different locations next year.
Festivalgoers will be able to attend the two events with the first running from Friday February 15 to Saturday February 16 in Banchory at The Barn, and the second in Oldmeldrum at Lochter Activity Centre on Friday April 19 and Saturday April 20..
Established to introduce people living in the north-east to gins made by passionate makers and mavericks in the spirits community from across the country, the festival showcases an extensive range of Scottish gins, beers, cocktails and foods.
Gin lovers will get a unique chance to taste a wide range of spirits and drinks, learn about the makers and buy a bottle or two at the festival.
There will be eight different bars at the festival which will be split up into different regions of Scotland. Attendees will receive a True OriGINs festival glass and a Scottish gin bible. In addition, they will be able to attend master classes and learn more about gin from producers and distillers. There will be fantastic Scottish food on offer, too.
The event is strictly for those 18 and above.
