This week we’re celebrating all things seafood as the annual Seafood Week campaign kicks off on Friday.
Taking place over eight days from October 5 to October 12, the campaign is designed to encourage people across the country to eat more fish.
Living in the north-east, where the fishing industry is so prominent, the celebration highlights the variety and quality of fish and shellfish on offer.
To mark the occasion, we have pulled together a list of some of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire’s best seafood gems, from award-winning chippers to some of the finest restaurants.
If you’re looking to spoil your other half or treat yourself, then The Tolbooth is the perfect place to do so. Located on the northern harbour wall in Stonehaven with picturesque views, its beautiful decor nods to the distinctive marine feel of the building. If you’re looking for somewhere that delivers food to a fine dining level, then this is the place for you.
