A new Aberdeen cafe will open this spring.
Cafe Ahoy is set to open in April and will be based in the former Cafe Coast building on Aberdeen’s Beach Boulevard.
The dog-friendly venue will offer up brunch, lunch and afternoon tea to hungry customers. An official opening date is still to be confirmed but it is expected to be in spring.
Owner Martin McAuley, who also owns The Pier on the Beach Promenade, Corner Tree Cafe, Forest Cafe in Midmar and Bridge House Cafe in Ballater, is excited about the new venue.
He said: “We’re taking over the old Cafe Coast unit on the Beach Boulevard.
“We’re going to be offering brunch, lunch and afternoon tea. There will be real boat vibes and it will have a really cool interior.
“There’s an awesome outside terrace area there too, so we’re going to get that all decked up as well.”
