Fans have this morning hit out after Gerry Cinnamon’s Aberdeen gig appeared to sell out almost instantly, with tickets then appearing on re-sale sites for more than £200.
The face value of the tickets when bought direct from Ticketmaster or LiveNation was only £27.50. Both sites are listing tickets as sold out.
Shortly after going on sale, controversial site Viagogo were selling tickets for £202 each, a mark-up of more than seven times.
The Scottish singer-songwriter is to play at Aberdeen’s Beach Ballroom on December 18.
He announced the gig earlier this week after four shows in his home city of Glasgow sold out quickly.

Cinnamon rose to fame in 2014 through word-of-mouth and social media after selling out smaller gigs.
Earlier this year Gerry performed at TRNSMT festival, drawing one of the weekend’s biggest crowds during his set.
A LiveNation spokeswoman said: “Gerry’s gigs always prove popular and we wish him all the best.
“We would point anyone who is looking to still purchase tickets to the official re-sell website of twickets.
“There they will be able to buy from genuine people who can’t make the gig that are being sold for face value or less.”
