Farmer-turned-comedian Jim Smith is reaping the success of his huge fanbase in Aberdeen.
Due to phenomenal demand, the funnyman has added an extra two dates to his appearance at the Tivoli Theatre.
His show, Back To The Teuchter, on Thursday September 5 sold out within a day of going on sale.
Another two nights have now been added for Thursday September 12 and Friday September 13.
Christina Camillo, sales and marketing manager at the Tivoli, said: “It was quite incredible the way tickets just flew out the door for Jim’s original date.
“He clearly has a huge following in Aberdeen, so we are delighted he has been able to add extra nights so more of his fans can enjoy his fantastic sense of humour. We can’t wait to welcome him to the Tivoli in September.”
A former student at SRUC’s Aberdeen campus, Jim is a Perthshire farmer who started moonlighting as a stand-up and found a huge following.
Critics have described him as “Scotland’s funniest farmer” and “nothing short of superb”.
Back To The Teuchter is described as “Countryfile meets The Only Way Is Essex, as Jim takes to the stage to explain to city slickers what the outside world looks like to those who ‘bide up the glen’”.
Tickets for his extra shows are on sale now.
