A popular coffee manufacturer has lodged plans to open a kiosk in an Aberdeen shopping centre.
Nespresso submitted plans yesterday to Aberdeen City Council for a pre-fabricated kiosk at Union Square.
The building warrant estimates the work on the pop-up boutique, which will be constructed on the ground floor of the shopping centre near Skechers, will cost £10,000.
The coffee firm plans to sell machines, accessories and capsules, and will also offer a pod-recycling service.
Ryan Manson, General Manager of Union Square, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nespresso to Union Square and am sure that our customers will be eager to discover the extensive and varied range on offer. Union Square continues to appeal to great brands such as Nespresso and we are delighted that they have chosen us for their first pop-up in Aberdeen.”
Nespresso hopes to open the new store on Friday.
