Strictly Come Dancing stars brought smouldering sequences and plenty of energy to the Music Hall last night with their dazzling new show.
Now well into a 38-date Here Come The Boys tour around the UK, fan-favourite professional dancers Aljaz Skorjanec, Giovanni Pernice and Gorka Marquez were welcomed with open arms to the Aberdeen venue, showcasing a spectacle of superb dance numbers.
And not only was the pace as breathtaking as the wide selection of infectious anthems, but they exceeded expectations with every routine.
The format saw the talented trio go head-to-head in a line-up of battles, each focusing on a different dance discipline including ballroom, commercial, Latin and contemporary, amid a magnificent club setting.
Elisabeth Troy accompanied with fabulous live vocals.
Proving just how to pull off an extravagant entrance, the men kicked off the evening with a group performance which had audience members instantly engrossed.
The boys welcomed themselves one by one, giving enough time to introduce each of their flamboyant personalities.
Fans were also treated from the get-go to club classics, dance-anthems and, of course, a number of guilty pleasures by the show’s resident DJ.
Energetic numbers – co-choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara – including Giovanni’s jive early on made for a lively show.
And Gorka certainly left a lasting impression with his salsa.
As the conclusion drew near, the show succeeded in filling the void to keep fans of the hit BBC Strictly series entertained.
And with the audience carrying the deciding vote as to who should come out on top and be named the overall champion in each category, it was hugely engaging throughout.
Each number had audience members eager to jive the night away with the trio.
