A West End and Broadway musical sensation is heading for Aberdeen as part of a UK tour.
Waitress, the Tony-award winning show set in a diner, will be stopping off at His Majesty’s Theatre after its run ends in London. However, no dates or on-sale information have been announced yet.
Theatre bosses are simply telling musical fans to keep an eye on their website for any updates, after the show’s producers announced the UK tour in a Tweet.
Waitress will end its current run at the Adelphi Theatre on July 4 next year.
The hugely popular show was scored by Grammy-nominee Sara Bareilles.
Based on the film of the same name, it follows a young waitress an expert pie-maker in a diner who dreams of leaving her job and forging a life of her own.
It has been hailed by critics as “warm, witty, wise and hilarious” as well as “one of the best scores in years”.
