A talented Aberdeen producer is one of the finalists in the Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMA).
Now in its 11th year, the awards showcase the best new acts from Scotland across a wide range of genres.
Aberdeen-based Louis Seivwright has been shortlisted in the Best Hip Hop category.
He said: “I am delighted to get the opportunity to shine a light on the growing hip hop music scene we have locally.
“Winning this award would be a first as no one from Aberdeen has won before, so hopefully I can take it home.”
The successful producer released his new album titled Cloud 9 last month.
The collaborative album features tracks by artists such as Shogun, local rapper Ransom FA, and emerging vocalist Tammi Whyte.
A three-day public vote will open on Monday November 9 on the SAMA website.
The live virtual ceremony will be hosted on Wednesday November 18 on live streaming platform Twitch, and it will include performances by Nova and Walt Disco.
