New antiques shop opens in Aberdeen

A new antiques shop has officially opened in Aberdeen.
Something Old Something Brewed, on Rosemount Place also serve teas, coffees and tasty homebakes.
Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm, the store is the latest addition to the area.
Owner Mairi Adams said: “I have worked as a retail manager for 20 years and I was fed up with the pressures of it, so decided to go it alone.
“I love antiques and I am an avid collector and know lots about it all, so I thought ‘Why not?’
“I specialise in Japanese and Chinese antiques so my favourite piece would be my antique Chinese bronze tea caddy.
“I have quite an eclectic range from pictures to lamps.
“It’s something new and original to Aberdeen.”
