An Aberdeenshire restaurant has launched a five-course tasting menu.
Available with a wine flight, the Rothesay Rooms in Ballater has introduced the new offering due to customer demand.
The taster menu features five courses, however, an additional cheese course can be added for £10 per person. Chocolates, coffee and petit fours can be added for an additional £5.
Dishes currently include sourdough with whipped roast shallot butter, monkfish with lemon water, cucumber and dill, sea bream with mussels, celeriac, samphire and caviar, and the game course is venison with game presse, gnocchi, parsnip and bramble.
