Opening at noon today, The Esslemont is one of Aberdeen’s hottest new venues.
Based in the former Esslemont & Macintosh building on Union Street, the building has under gone a six-figure transformation, nodding its interior to the former department store.
Owned by independent hospitality operators McGinty’s Group, the 100-seater restaurant will serve up a range of contemporary dishes.
Society got a sneak preview of the glamorous new city centre addition.
As well as a range of individual sections to choose from to dine in, the venue also boasts a stunning bar which stocks a range of local drinks producers.
There’s also a secret door which doubles as a window – but only those dining in the private room will be able to enjoy this quirky touch.
The Esslemont Bar & Restaurant will be open seven days a week with food served all day.
