A new Aberdeen restaurant is serving up sushi in a quirky way – in a table-top wooden long boat to be precise.
Japanese eatery SooShe on Union Grove opened last month serving up its delicious dishes to the north-east.
Adding the sushi boat into its offering, diners can enjoy a whole array of the Japanese dish with a range of fillings.
The extravagant item costs £40 and consists of 12 pieces of sashimi, six seared nigiri and six guncan.

Owned by local businessman Chung Wong, it is open six days a week, closing on a Tuesday.
The eatery also offers up authentic food including nigiri, gucan sushi (spicy sushi), maki rolls in a variety of styles and flavours, ramen, miso soup, salads, katsu curry, yakitori and chef’s daily specials too.
