Aberdeenshire drinks company launches new tonic waters

A north-east drinks company has launched four new flavours of tonic water.

Summerhouse Drinks, which is based near Fraserburgh, specialises in craft lemonades and produced Scotland’s first tonic water since starting out in 2014.

Owned by Claire Rennie, the firm has now created brand new flavours of its tonic water – which is produced under the name Walter Gregor –  includes cucumber and mint, spiced, Scottish raspberry, and apple and cinnamon.

Each tonic is made using natural ingredients with no artificial flavours or colours added.

Claire said: “We’ve got Scottish raspberry tonic which uses the same raspberry juice as our lemonade, apple and cinnamon which is just like apple pie, the spiced tonic is a lovely Christmas spice flavour and the mint and cucumber flavour will no doubt be really popular next summer.

“You can pair them with so many spirits like gin, vodka and whisky.”
