An Aberdeenshire gin producer has received a prestigious commendation at The Design & Packaging Masters – part of the internationally renowned Global Spirits Masters series.
The Teasmith Spirit Company in Udny was awarded a Master Medal, the highest accolade in the category.
Founded by husband and wife team Nick an Emma Smalley, the Aberdeenshire gin bottle was judged on aesthetics, materials, creativity and strong branding on display. The couple work with Aberdeen brand agency FortyTwo Studio on their design.
The Global Spirits Masters awards are organised by The Spirits Business – a leading global spirits trade magazine in London – and this latest recognition now brings their awards total to over 15.
The firm also recently launched the first gin distilled with a batch of Scottish-grown tea – the Broich Single Estate – which marks the brands first specialised, small-batch ‘Grower’s Edition’ gin.
Emma said: “Once again we are blown away with this recognition of the brand design and packaging of The Teasmith Gin. An extremely high number of brands have entered the global marketplace this year and it is more important than ever to demonstrate quality not just in spirit but in the overall delivery of your product. This is at the centre of everything we do at The Teasmith Spirit Company.”
