Two talented north-east bakers have created dinosaur-themed cakes ahead of the 25th anniversary of the Jurassic Park film.
The movie celebrates the milestone in September and the bakers designed the cakes for clients’ birthdays.
Saw Yen Yee, owner of Yen Thomson Cakes, created this stunning edible masterpiece dinosaur hatching cake for a seventh birthday.
She said: “I enjoyed the challenge. It took me a while but I got the look I was aiming for.
“The dinosaur is made from armature covered with RKT (Rice Krispie Treats) and sugar paste.
“And the rich chocolate cake is filled with mint flavour Italian buttercream and crushed Oreo, which gives a bit of crunch.”
Arty Crafty Cakes by Lhea also created this dinosaur-themed cake below which features one some of the films popular characters, including a triceratops, velociraptors and a diplodocus.

However, I'm running out of ideas on designs ?. I like my cakes to look different each time when someone order a cake I've done before. It just makes it a little bit more special ? #dinosaurcake #triceratopscake #triceratops #tractorcaketopper #dinosaurthemecake #dinoyum #cakelove #cake #cakedesigner #cakedecorating #cakeporn #cakeart #cakeartist #cakeartistry #cakecakecake #cakesofaberdeen #cakesofinverurie #cakesofinstagram #cakesofaberdeenshire #cakeskintore #aberdeencake #aberdeen #aberdeenshire #scotland #artycraftycakesbyLhea
