Two north-east businesswomen recognised at Scottish Women’s Awards

Two north-east women have been recognised at the third Scottish Women’s Awards.
Kate Stott of BeautyBooker in Aberdeen and Sarah Medcraf of the Moray Chamber of Commerce in Elgin both won awards at the event last night.
The new beauty app developer Kate took home Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year while Sarah was handed the Women of Influence award.
Over 300 people attended the event in Glasgow which recognises inspiring women’s success over the last year and honours the talent and hard work of professionals and entrepreneurs across Scotland.
Kate Stott of BeautyBooker said: “To have won this award feels just wonderful, I feel lucky, honored and humbled to have shared the stage last night with some truly incredible woman.
“Receiving the Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year award so soon into our business journey solidifies our vision for the future and we look forward introducing a new tech approach to the hair and beauty industry.
“I just want to say a huge congratulations to all of the other winners and those shortlisted on the night and I can’t thank the Scottish Women’s Awards 2019 enough.”
