An Aberdeen salon has made the finals of a prestigious hairdressing awards.
Linton & Mac at Netherkirkgate has been shortlisted in three categories in Creative Head’s Most Wanted awards.
The salon was recognised in the Best Local Salon, while salon owners Jennifer Linton and Joanna MacDonald were announced as finalists in the Business Thinker category.
Senior principal stylist and colour expert Sarah Black has also been recognised in the Colour Expert category.
The Most Wanted awards celebrate accomplished individuals, teams and businesses in British and Irish hairdressing. The grand final will take place on Monday September 2 in London.
There are 14 categories recognising creativity and success across a multitude of disciplines, from customer service to business innovation.
This year’s entries were judged by a panels of experts including Gemma Bellman, director of Europe for Glossier, Navaz Batliwalla of Disney Roller Girl fame, Sonia Haria beauty director of the Telegraph Group, Floral Street founder Michelle Feeney and session stylists including Ken O’Rourke, Tracie Cant, Johnnie Sapong and Syd Hayes.
