An independent fashion boutique has closed its doors.
Stellar, located on Thistle Street in the West End of Aberdeen, which specialised in offering an exclusive selection of handbags and accessories for both men and women, has shut.
The reason behind the closure is said to be due to rising costs which made it difficult to sustain the business. In the run up to the closure owner Serena Venegoni ran a number of discounted promotions.
The business also operates an online shop which will also cease trading. The shop primarily stocked a selection of the best Italian brands inclusing Furla, Coccinelle, Trussardi, Piquadro and many more.
Stellar is not the first business to close its doors this year, Cognito Deli, Real Hot Dogs and The Highland Hotel have all announced closures this month. Rye & Soda in Aberdeen also shut down at the tail end of last year.
