An Aberdeen barbershop has introduced a new Junior Barber Mentoring Programme.
Hard Grind Aberdeen at The Green launched the programme to help encourage young barbers into the industry and help them gain work experience
The popular barber shop, which opened almost four years ago, was one of the first modern barbershops in the city.
The barber shop has already hired its first Junior Barber, Jordan Tinker.
The firm posted on Facebook: “Bridging the gap for newly qualified barbers is something we feel strongly about and we want to put our focus on continuing that education and mentoring to our Juniors to allow them to develop in a tried and tested environment.
“Everyone needs to start somewhere and we want to give others the chance to achieve something awesome.”
“Jordan will be working off of her own price list, with all cuts reduced by 20%.
“Every cut is monitored and we aim to have her up to full speed within the next few months. She’ll be available Tuesday-Saturday on a walk in basis, so make sure you check her out for your next trim.”
