Legendary singer Tom Jones is set to visit Scotland later this year as part of his world tour.
Unfortunately he won’t be coming to Aberdeen, but he will be performing just an hour away in Dundee at the city’s Slessor Gardens.
Tickets to the outdoor standing gig, which takes place on Saturday July 25, will go on sale this Friday at 9am.
We’ve pulled together a guide for any Aberdonians thinking of making the trip down the road to Dundee to see the legend that is Tom Jones perform.

When is it and what time does the event kick off?
The doors for the show will open at 5pm on Saturday July 25. It’s unknown what time Sir Tom will grace the stage as of yet.
What is he likely to perform?
Sir Tom is likely to perform a number of his greatest hits including Delilah, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again, Sexbomb, Green Green Grass of Home and more.
How do I get there?
You can take the Megabus from Aberdeen Bus Station to Dundee Seagate Bus Station direct. The journey is expected to take around 1 hour and 20 minutes. Bus fares vary from £12.20 to £20.20 to Dundee at the moment, but prices may vary at time of purchase.
It will take approximately 10 minutes to walk to Slessor Gardens from the station.
Head out of Aberdeen via the A90 and stick to this road until you reach Dundee and continue straight through the roundabouts until you reach the turning for Forfar Road and Kingsway. Take the left at the traffic lights and continue. Turn Left onto Arbroath Road, then right onto Dalgleish Road. Turn right at Broughty Ferry Road and take the exit onto the Riverside Esplanade. Continue onto Riverside Esplanade and turn right towards South Marketgait. Turn right onto South Marketgait and right again onto South Castle Street. The destination is on your right.
The journey is expected to take around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
You can park at the NCP Car Park on Marketgait, Gellatly Street Car Park, NCP Car Park Dundee on Bank Street and Bell Street Car Park or at the Overgate Shopping Centre Car Park.
The train will take approximately around one hour and 10 minutes from Aberdeen to Dundee. Times and prices vary but tickets are priced around £31.60 for an open return at the moment.
It will take around five minutes to walk to Slessor Gardens from the station.
