Hundreds of people are expected to attend a festive fete at a historic north-east venue next weekend.
One of the oldest distilleries in Scotland will open its doors for its Rare Fair Christmas between 10am and 4pm on Saturday December 7.
It will be the fourth year Glen Garioch, in Oldmeldrum, has hosted the event.
Last year’s attendance was the best yet with more than 700 people turning out – and organisers at the distillery, founded in 1797, are hoping to improve on that figure this time around.
There will be whisky tastings, tours and masterclasses on offer, as well as local food and craft stands.
The event will also mark the launch of the distillery’s latest product, the Glen Garioch Missouri Single Cask 1363.
A spokeswoman for the distillery said: “This is the perfect opportunity to discover a ‘rare find’ and gift ideas for Christmas.”
