The city council has unveiled details for next month’s Bonfire Night celebrations.
More than 12,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s musicals-themed event at the beach on November 5.
The event will kick off from 6.30pm with fire jugglers and a charity walk, followed by a 20-minute firework display from 7.30pm.
An Aberdeen City Council spokesman said: “We had a great response to our public vote on our Facebook events page and all will be revealed on Tuesday November 5 when people can find out if their musical number of choice features in this year’s musical-themed Fireworks Night.
“We’ve got a great line-up which features fire jugglers and a charity firewalk and of course, the star of the show, our fabulous fireworks display set to music chosen by the people of Aberdeen.
“The fun starts at 6.30pm with the display scheduled for 7.20pm and as always we look forward to welcoming the crowds to what will be a wonderful evening.”
The best vantage points for the display are around the Beach Boulevard, Queen’s Links and Esplanade areas.
There are no dedicated parking spaces so the public have been advised to walk or get buses to the event as nearby roads are likely to be extremely busy and several road closures are in place.
The full length of the Beach Boulevard will be shut from 5.30pm to 9pm.
Other roads closed include Links Road from its junction at the Beach Retail Park to the roundabout at the Beach Ballroom.
Park and ride services will be running on the night from Kingswells, Bridge of Don and the Aberdeen Altens hotel.
