Final Thistle Street Farmers’ Market of 2019 in Aberdeen cancelled

The final Thistle Street Farmers’ Market event of the year has been cancelled.
The monthly market, which takes place on Thistle Street, will not go ahead on Saturday as planned.
A spokesman for the West End Traders Association, organisers of the Thistle Street Farmers’ Market, said: “We have taken the decision to cancel the Thistle Street Farmers’ Market, scheduled to take place on Saturday (December 14).
“We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding.
“There is plenty to enjoy in the city centre this month, particularly with the Aberdeen Christmas Village Christmas in the Quad market (running Thursday to Sunday) and additional farmers’ markets on Belmont Street, which are taking place on Saturday December 14 and Saturday December 21.”
