The final Chapelton farmers’ market of the year is set to take place later this month.
Bringing some festive cheer to the north-east, locals are invited to attend the popular market on Sunday November 22 from 11am to 2.30pm at Burgess Park.
There will be a range of stallholders offering a variety of food and drink and items that are perfect for gifting this Christmas.
Favourite regular stallholders will return once again, such as The Cupcake Stop, Breer Pie Co, All About Lemons, The Pet Shop Grampian, Bannerman Butcher, and Crafty Pickle Co. to offer festive treats.
Ledmacoy Turkeys will also be on hand to take Christmas orders that will be available to collect from Chapelton on Thursday December 24, as well as new addition Ingrained Inc which boasts a range of unique handcrafted gifts.
Physical distancing and increased hygiene measures will be in place during the event to comply with Covid-19 restrictions and contactless card payments will also be available at most stalls.
The Duchess of Fife, director of Elsick Development Company, which is leading the build of Chapelton, said: “Our farmers’ market events become more and more popular each time we host the event and we wanted to finish the year on a high.
“This year has been incredibly difficult for everyone but this is a chance for people to get outdoors, safely browse a range of stalls and purchase great produce and items from some of the north-east’s finest suppliers.
“Whether you’re looking for mini hampers to gift to friends and family or stock up on goodies ahead of Christmas, this is the perfect event to get you feeling festive.”
