A local food and drink market is celebrating after welcoming a record-breaking 16,500 visits to its latest event.
Inspired Nights, which is organised by Aberdeen Inspired, the city centre’s Business Improvement District, saw its largest attendance over the three-day August event.
Its previous record sat at 12,500 visits.
With events including Celebrate Aberdeen and the Great Aberdeen Run both taking place over the weekend, the spike in visits was welcomed by the various food, drink and craft exhibitors who had pitched up at The Green for the event.
Nicola Johnston, Aberdeen Inspired’s evening and night-time economy manager said: “It was certainly a weekend to remember in Aberdeen, with the combination of the Great Aberdeen Run, Celebrate Aberdeen and of course, Inspired Nights on the Green.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have welcomed record-breaking crowds to the Green, with 16,500 visits over the course of Inspired Nights.
“It was fantastic to see thousands of people at the event, all enjoying the sunshine, food and drinks and supporting our local traders and businesses in the process. Inspired Nights has really been embraced by the north-east public and we can’t wait to bring it back next month.”
