An Aberdeen cafe is set to host a pottery exhibition this summer.
Parx Cafe, on Rubislaw Terrace, will welcome Kirstie Mathieson’s exhibition titled Traces.
Kirstie, who owns Little Acorns Pottery, is looking forward to the exhibition.
She said: “What I hope to capture in my work is a sense of place. My pieces are intrinsically connected to the places that I know well, places that are special to me in Italy and in Scotland, places that have shaped and influenced me.
“Every piece I make is individual, made using a variety of stoneware clays on the wheel, then decorated using layers of slip and glazes.
“I am particularly interested in making small domestic pieces for everyday use and vessels for displaying nature’s treasures.”
The opening night will take place on Friday August 9 from 6pm to 9pm.
The exhibition will then be on display till Friday August 16.
